Designation: Assistant Manager GST Compliance
Key Responsibilities of the Job:
The incumbent shall be responsible for GST project execution and shall work closely with the team members. Will handle day to day client issues, carry out frequent follow up on client deliverables and abide by an established set of standard operating procedures. The responsibilities shall include but shall not be limited to:
Supporting the clients on GST compliance assessment.
Obtaining Registration under GST for clients.
Support the clients in GST implementation.
Technically advise the client for regular GST queries
Coordination with clients and local associates for GST advisory and compliance.
Preparation and verification of computation of tax liabilities.
Verification of periodic tax returns of all clients and ensuring filing the same within the prescribed time under GST Law.
Effectively manage routine GST matters like payment of taxes and routine correspondence with tax department.
Proactive in dealing with client issues. All issues must be properly studied, researched and closed within strict deadlines set
Responding and providing solutions on technical issues to clients.
Regularly discuss and report client issues to the Deputy Manager / Manager

Profile of the incumbent
Qualified CA, with more than 0-3 years of post-qualification experience in professional services firm.
Expert in accounting issues and accounting standards as applicable in India.
Good knowledge of tax withholding, payroll processing, direct and indirect tax compliances.
Basic understanding of labour laws, economic laws, exchange control matters and Companies Act 2013.
Work experience in GST will be an added advantage.
Should have analytical thought processes to understand and interpret legal provisions of relevant laws.
Should be a good communicator both verbal and written
Strong team player
Should have experience of working with both Indian and foreign clients
Should have soft skills essential for handling people and clients

UG: Any Graduate – Any Specialization
